地球温暖化を考える！

昨日はエコバックの話でしたので、英英辞書で少し調べてみるとエコロジー関係の単語はしっかりと子供用のこの辞書にもありました。

[global warming] a gradual increase in the average temperature of the earth's climate, caused by the greenhouse effect.
[greenhouse effect] the bad effect of large amounts of gases such as methane and carbon dioxide in the earth's atmosphere, trapping heat and causing the earth to became too warm.
一応
[carbon dioxide] a colourless gas made by humans and animals breathing.
[climate] the normal weather conditions in a particular area as observed over a long period.
[atmosphere] the air around the earth. a feeling.

上の二つの単語があるとは思わずに調べてみたので、この辞書にしては少しレベルが高いような気もしました。地球環境に興味があるので何だかうれしかったです。
理解すべき大切な単語ですので、いくら子供用とは言っても辞書に載っていて当然ですね。

そうなると日本の子供用国語辞典にはこれらの単語はあるのでしょうか？
そして地球環境のために自分たちが出来ること何かやってますか？
